Seaplane Terms and Condition:
Seaplane is available during daylight hours only and subject to weather conditions.
Seaplanes can be arranged for international flights landing at Velana International Airport (MLE) before 3:30pm and departing after 9.00am
The flight duration is approximately 25 minutes from Velana International Airport to the resort.
Guests will have complimentary access to the arrival lounge only.
Arrival and departure details and the guests’ complete names as per the passport are required at least 5 days prior to arrival to book and confirm the transfer. Failure to provide this information may result in extended waiting times at the airport or an overnight stay in Male at the guest's additional expense.
Baggage allowance is 20kg check-in luggage and 5kg hand luggage per person. Any excess baggage is chargeable at a cost of USD 5.00 per kg and payable at the airport. For any individual baggage piece, the linear dimension must not exceed 158 centimetres, and the weight must not exceed 32kg. The airline company does not guarantee the baggage on the same flight as the passengers. Infants do not have a baggage allowance. Prices and weight restrictions are subject to change at the discretion of the Airline Company.
Seaplane transfers are operated by a third-party supplier, and flight schedules and timings are entirely at their discretion and could be subject to operational requirements or prevailing weather conditions. The Seaplane lands at the base decided by the carrier, therefore, passengers might not arrive at the resort on a direct flight, or the flight might land in a nearby resort and will be transferred by a boat.
In case of bad weather, the captain may decide to land the flight considering the safety of the passengers, crew, and the aircraft. Please note that neither the Resort nor the transfer provider shall be held liable for any claims arising from missed connections including international flights, due to delay of transfer caused by adverse weather conditions, force majeure and acts of God. - Product InfoBook by 28 February 2026
